The Phoenix in LA

Well today is early Sunday morning and we’re just finishing up T. Harv Eker’s World’s Greatest Marketing Seminar here in surprisingly cool LA.  I have to say that this seminar, and mind you we are a start up, has been incredible.  I feel like the proverbial Phoenix, the dead old business ways of marketing now reborn and rising from the ashes of old copywright.  I’ve decided that a new and upcoming business I want to start will be as a freelance copywriter, helping small businesses reconstruct their marketing.

For our business, I’m Ready Inc., I’ve rediscovered my passion . . . it’s for Ria, my wonderful 4 year old daughter.  That’s why I originally started writing these books.  I did it for her.  I also did it for my nephews and nieces.  I did it for all kids around the world.  I did it because my vision of the world is brilliant . . . and it all starts with the kids.

I’ve also had the great blessing to have Dottie, my business partner but most importantly my life partner and best friend, here by my side.  I got sick one night, possibly through food posioning, which smashed me with a terrible headache and my favorite, vomiting.  I was uable to attend one night session but luckily Dottie was here to nurse me back to health.  We have also met so many great, intelligent, and innovatative business owners this week.  “Birds of a feather. . .” as the saying goes.

So far, A+++, 100%, for the seiminar.  Today is the last day and my brain is fried.  We’ve learned so much, perhaps too much?  “You can never know less!” – T. Harv.  Although I want to learn more and stay, it has to come to an end.  I’m happy not only because we are going to implement rebuild the business, but I really miss Ria and Rex.  Ria, Papa and Mama are coming home!
